Other colours:
Make a bold statement with the Noir Dumpling Pouche in a pebbled finish, showcasing a modern, slouchy + collapsible silhouette - it's our take on a classic bucket bag. The signature sculpted handles open to reveal a roomy interior via a drawcord for easy access, and the pebbled finish fabric is Global Recycled Standard certified. Grab by the handle or wear crossbody, and be prepared to be noticed.
This is my second Sans Beast bag and I am honestly in love with this brand!!
This dumpling makes me smile every-time I see it, and I have had so many compliments.
It fits so much in it too. Honestly a bit like a Hermione pouch out of Harry Potter 🤣
Thank you for making such a beautiful and unique bag!!
Amazing colour, not neon but bright enough that it stands out! I adore the dumpling shape - it's so easy to fit a lot in but also great to fold up for every day use. Also comfortable as both across the shoulder and side-bag. I'm hoping there are more dumpling bags to come!
I recently bought this bag. My first impression was that this bag looks so strong yet beautiful!! Great capacity, clever design, great quality. My only concern is that the bag does not hold the shape of a dumpling as shown in the picture and video. Perhaps in some time when the leather softens, it would.
It was the colour that I first loved but this bag is so versatile and can fit so much but still can be work cross body or held by its handles for a more 'formal' occasion.
The bag surprisingly fits a lot! 500ml collapsable water bottle, thin cardigan and all my other bits and bobs. Its been a gorgeous statement, happy piece in a market saturated with extremely dowdy handbags. Only pang was that I bought it a couple of weeks before it went on sale and paid 37% more than it costs now. Regardless, my consumer guilt is eased somewhat knowing its made from recycled plastics, construction seems good enough to last a while and its unique enough to transcend fashion trends.
Purchased this a few months ago and have carried it every.day.!!
Holds a fair amount of stuff- 2 mobile phones, keys, glasses case, and other odds.
It is cute as a cross body, shoulder or hand carry. The artichoke colour is a tiny bit more dull than the image, but it has a gorgeous grey undertone that looks great against all outfits
I received this as a gift. First thought was that is appears to be inspired by the loewe hammock made in a cheap fake leather promoted as vegan (even though the process and chemicals used in creating fake leather can often be very harmful to the environment).
Decided to donate it as I knew I'd never use it. I can't bring myself to use or buy obvious clones of other brands designs. Will purchase the Loewe instead, the quality is worth it.
Hi Jaime
Thanks for your feedback. You're clearly not a fan of the brand - but great that your friend is!
We have not sought to emulate or copy the Hammock Bag. If we had a copyist heart, rest assured we'd have copied it verbatim - it's a popular strategy of many brands. Instead, we have tapped a trending silhouette of a pouche bag, and added our signature handles + given the base a distinct appearance. It's not in our brand nature to copy, there is no joy in it.
Re the synthetic leather - there is so much fact based information available regarding this, if you're truly interested we'd encourage some further reading. You don't need to like our brand to be open minded + learn about materials. Collective Fashion Justice + Material Innovation Initiative are both excellent sources of facts. Indeed, animal leather has a far higher environmental footprint than synthetic versions. From chemical use, to water use, deforestation, loss of biodiversity, eutrophication + of course, the ethical ramifications of a slaughter industry; it's all part of the 50 billion+ USD leather handbag market. Polyurethane coatings are also used on many leather handbags - yes, even in luxury.
All the best,
Studio Sans Beast
I've been eyeing the Dumpling Pouche for an age, and was torn between what colour to choose. Upon visiting the studio to look at the Citron and Black versions, I was pointed in the direction of Artichoke. The colour is neutral yet unique, and the black detailing gives it added depth and oomph. The bag itself is next level, I knew it would fit a decent amount but I am amazed by what I can happily fit in my bag - which somehow makes the dumpling shape even more fabulous.
